The Great Passing of Aaliyah.   Leave a comment

Ever since the “Tragic plane crash”, Aaliyah was remembered as the most talented singer in the music industry. Today marked the 9th Anniversary of the passing of great singer Aaliyah. I nearly forgot about her…it’s been nine years and I still have been missing her so much. *sigh* What an angel and I wish that I met her though. She closely reminded me of my sister [almost]. I’m now 20 years old and nothing has changed for me except the music, though. Today’s music went from “Shine” to “Sh%t” since she died. Before 2001, there was the best artists of hip hop in the industry and then After that, all I see is rump-shaking girls and calling them “hoes”, “bitches”, “sluts” and whatever indescribable garbage these so-called artists sing about. Hip-hop to me is now a useless form of music since then.

This artist has been famous ever since she was 16 and was the ONLY GIRL WITH REAL TALENT and an absolutely beautiful singing voice has been on my playlist for nine straight years. Why did she die? I don’t know and i’ll never know. It’s so sad and very disappointing that this happened and could’ve been prevented…a lot. If only she had access to a much larger airplane and a completely sober pilot, she wouldn’t have been dead. In fact Her parent sued CESSNA for PREVENTABLE damages for an undisclosed amount. It’s not clear if they won the lawsuit or not but the singer should’ve been treated to better transportation.

She has done so much for the music industry from 1994-2001. She did 2 films (4 if she was still alive) and won awards for her best music and best albums of all time. It’s been a long time since the world changed. Many artists will never forget her including Missy Elliot, DMX, Ciara and many more who have met the artists or heard her best song that shaped the hip hop industry.

If Aaliyah were still alive, she would’ve been 31.

The longest day in College.   Leave a comment

Today appeared to be the Longest day on the first week of College. Unfortunately for me, I had to spend the whole day investigating why I had a ‘W’ (the letter that means ‘Withdrawn’ in most colleges) on my Spring 2010 records. Today I discovered a ‘W’ on my Language lab class from last semester and I wanted to know why. The head tutor of the language, Ms. Galante was very difficult to track down. So basically, I spent 5 1/2 hours trying to search for the lady and the whereabouts and leads of this tutor became very confusing. Since I had to wait for the other tutors to show up at the Language Lab, I stopped by a Dance club called, “Club DDR”. It’s this club where you have a shot at dancing to Dance Dance Revolution hit in the video. This day marked my first time to learn how to dance to the music and the game. It was hard at first then I suddenly got the hang of it. It was very fun. so I signed up and enjoyed. πŸ˜‰ (I should’ve done this years ago! >>;)

The college where i’m studying is FAR behind on me and the other students’ financial aid stuff and I still need about $300 to cover my textbooks for the whole semester and the funding takes time…as much as 1 WHOLE week. So far, My financial assistance has been under a lot of scrutiny and I though I was too late with my financial aid. Turns out it was the system not the Deadline. Now I need to figure out what I need for the semester and how to spend it much wisely. I’m gonna need it. There’s so much to do tomorrow. I hope this semester comes easily without stress this time around. I have got a lot to do.

But for now, I am TIRED AS HELL!

IRATE BEYOND WORDS!!!   6 comments

Tonight I was to experience the greatest live of the year: JITB Summer 2010 LIVE. For once in my life, I wanted to see Vamps, Becky, Kyo, Acid Android and tens more. Apparently that doesn’t come into existence in the Live Stream because this year, JITB decided to offer worthless scenes of karaoke singers singing their hearts out instead of watching the FULL CONCERT in HD LIVE Stream and rocking to the Greatest songs ever made and Performed by the ORIGINAL singers and rockstars. I was in the middle of rocking out to Acid Android’s best hit song and then all of the sudden, it cuts to an ordinary person singing some random song. JITB has been doing this bullshit for Hours beyond recognition. This has gotten so bad that I missed the Greatest moment in the history of j-rock: Vamps [leader] HYDE rocked out to a song with solo artist Kyo. When JITB got around to it, they never EVER showed the Golden moment but a crossover performance with Mucc. I have never felt so SERIOUSLY OUTRAGED IN MY LIFE since they aired horrible karaoke singers instead of the famous singers in Japan.

Proof the golden moment happened

This following message is for DC Maverick:
THIS IS NOT TOKYO STAR SEARCH NOR THIS IS IDOL SEARCH LIVE. THIS IS TOTAL BULLSHIT YOU ARE AIRING AND YOU ALL ARE DOING A TERRIFIC JOB MAKING US ONLINE STREAMER’S LIVES A LIVING HELL. YOU MADE ALL OF US MISS THE BEST MOMENTS IN JAPANESE ROCK INDUSTRY AND ALSO THE (Kawaii) MOMENTS IN PERFORMER’S LIVES AND PARTS OF THEIR INTENDED PERFORMANCES. DARE I SAY THAT IT IS EXTREMELY UNFAIR OF YOU TO RAPE OUR MINDS WITH USELESS LOGIC AND TOTAL DISREGARD TO ALL OF HUMANITY TO FILL OUR HEAD NOT WITH MEDICINE BUT WITH UNNECESSARY MATERIAL OF SINGERS WITH LESS-THAN-PLEASING VOICES. I HOPE YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND MAY THE IRATE STREAMERS COME TO WHEREVER YOU PRODUCERS AND CAMERAMEN LIVE AND HAUNT YOU WITH THEIR SCREAMING VOICES!!!

To be honest, I feel Betrayed like the rest of users who were online who WAITED THE WHOLE SUMMER TO SQUEAL, SCREAM, AND CRY IN PURE JOY TO WATCH THEIR FAVORITE SEXY ROCKSTARS PERFORM LIVE. Because of them, I missed ベッキ#γ€€and her “mystery” Bassist and I never felt so distraught for missing out on the greatest performances and the best singers in Japan, it’s not funny at all. It’s like DC Maverick chose Crystal Meth over the best music in the World. GOD FORBID THEM IF THEY SKIP VAMPS OR ANYMORE A+ PERFORMERS. Somebody will die tonight. 😑

Oddly enough in Japan…   1 comment

Okay so let’s start off with two WTF-worthy things I have found across the internet…I still love Japan alot but the things they come up in there are really surprising…and shocking. :O

Let’s star out with Fuji TV’s Recent comedy, Shaken baby. At first you will start to think Japan’s sense of humor is very disturbing and really have bad taste in naming comedy shows. But this show is NOT–I repeat NOT about a humorized infanticide case but rather about a Second-year College student named Odegaki Hiroshi who is dumped by his girlfriend complaining about him being “too normal and too boring” for her. so he decides to join a club called, “Shakespeare Research Group” or just “Shaken” for short. Shaken is a club just for weirdos also. >>;

The comedy’s title might not sit well with the American audience because killing infants is NOT FUNNY nor is it supposed to be humorized in anyway. Oh god think of the hysteria the title will cause in the U.S. >>;

Shakespeare syndrome should give enough clarification. πŸ˜€

Anyway, moving on to what else I found online was this article I found what it appears to be an Anti-foreigner protest that occurred last Halloween. These protesters are complaining about foreigners ruining Halloween and their “Social Order”. Lemme make this short… These Right-wing Japanese Nationalists got all butthurt about the true meaning of Halloween. In Japan, Halloween is about cute cosplayers across the Shinjuku and Harajuku Districts and showing off your new costumes all over. In the U.S. Halloween is supposedly people wearing scary and terrifying costumes as much as you can scare and “haunt” as you can and get as many treats as much as you want. Japan is just doing the “Twilight” version of Halloween. but No one cares what’s more frightening. Even I could dress as a “Ganguro” for Halloween in Japan. xD To be honest, Halloween is supposed to be scary, frightening, and haunting. Why do you think scary stories and haunted exists? Looks like Japanese Culture like to ultimately beautify a scary holiday but I guess it’s the only (day) or way for them to be hot and kawaii on Halloween and I sure do respect that. πŸ˜‰

Well that’s about all I can come up with. I’ve got to go eat now. I have got pics but I’ll post them later in the next entry. πŸ˜€

Thanks for reading! ^^v

What an interesting day today has been.   Leave a comment

Today, I was selling an item on the internet and they were a pair of Ed Hardy jeans. I am selling them for $250.86 on eBay.com. I am deciding on how to get my eBay business off the ground and i still haven’t sold a thing yet. Dx how sad. 😦

On the internet, I was on Danny Choo’s blog today and I have never been so impressed and amazed on how much publicity he was getting as an A-list blogger. *o* It was so good, I was picturing myself in the photos he was taking. I was being interviewed by him about my fantastic work about being the first foreign girl to make such amazing manga artwork. I got so overwhelmed about how much publicity I was getting and tried to cry but I kept yelling at myself to smile. It was hard. ;_;

In life, I Drew manga and it didn’t turn out too well. 😦 I Took a lot of photos while I was outside and the photos of the sky and the Landscape are cool, funny and interesting….

The Cloud covering the sun.

Clouds over the mountains

Blow dryer or ray gun? You decide.

Some of the pics I looks as as though I didn’t take the pictures correctly. I dunno. All I have is a camera and shoot whatever’s interesting and funny. (laughs) Anyway back at home, I found some leftover yakult drink in the fridge in my house. I have tried some recently and it taste pretty fruity and it’s very nutritious. My mom was lucky enough to find some at the food bank while she was volunteering. I sometimes wonder how lucky I am to have a great mother that cares so much about my interests in Japanese Cultures. (laughs)

Um, waiter....There's a Yakult in my Drink...

So many things inspire me a lot wherever I go. Whether it’s on the internet on Outside my house; I always take my camera and take pics of what’s in the shy and the most beautiful within my surroundings…even there’s a cloud that highly resembles a chicken or a cloud that resembles the katakana character, Mu (γƒ ).

I think Japan is trying to tell me something...

But as always, I love to tell the world what i’m doing because it never ceases to amuse what I experience. Hopefully, I can achieve the goals I created Earlier this year and finally complete them in the next.

see y’all again soon! πŸ˜‰

Long time, no view. :(   2 comments

Whew, How long has it been? Looks as though the last time I post on this blog was when I commented about my sister graduating from high school and going to boot camp. Well, Fortunately on both parts both of those events have passed My sister’s doing okay. She finished boot camp and is now in the Naval Hospital completing her doctor’s assistant training . (great 4 her. :D) it’s almost time for me to go back to College (and my Japanese lessons) and I have just started to read books (like i should >w>) but yeah my vocabulary is a bit out-of-context. I am still working on that, though.

My life today is that i’m enjoying reading people’s FMLs (look it up) all day and laughing at the you-deserve-it FMLs and saying ‘ouch’ to the Your-life-Sucks FMLs. I have to set up my to-do list on what to do in the coming fall season. I thinking that I should get another computer since my mom is in a desperate need for one. But, yeah I’m putting that into consideration. What I’m also putting into consideration is getting my website blog on wordpress.org. But I may need more info on blogging- like-a-boss and learning how to get comments and instant pay. >>; That will be complete in due time and for now I’m gonna be working with WordPress.com’s domain. ^^;

*Sigh* The song I’m listening to right is downright soothing. The song is called, ‘Hikari no Suashi’ which translates to “Bare feet in the Light”. I started to listen to it after I was listening to ‘Tsuki no ie’ or “House of the Moon”. It was one of the best songs ever made by Akino Arai. Anyway, about Hikari no Suashi, the song is performed by Ishibashi Chie. Great Seiyuu with a soothing voice.

Okay I got to go now gotta prepare for the big week and i’ll let ya know what happened in the coming week. πŸ˜‰
